The Adoption is Official!

Lady Bandits has partnered with Gwinnett Clean & Beautiful to adopt a 1.1 mile stretch of road in 2019! In keeping with our commitment to community service and impressing upon our young ladies a heart for selfless service to others, we have committed to maintaining a Gwinnett County road for 2019 calendar year.

In addition to executing on our core mission, the team will have the benefit of two road signs (one at each end of our adopted segment) with our name right on it (installed after the second confirmed cleanup date). There's also some other nice accolades, such as recognition as a community partner on county websites, certificates of excellence etc, but the real joy is in knowing that we as an organization are exhibiting good stewardship over our community.

You needn't have a child playing on the team to join us for a cleanup! Volunteers from anywhere and everywhere are welcomed with open arms and encouraged to volunteer on one of our cleanup dates! Our first service date is January 26th, 2019, and if you will be joining us on that date, please fill out a Volunteer Waiver of Liability and Release and bring it with you to the service!

So where is this stretch of road that we'll be maintaining this year? We're glad you asked! We have been assigned (by request of course) the 1.1 mile stretch of McGee Rd SW in Snellville from Main St (US 78) to Highpoint Rd. This just so happens to be the same stretch of road on which our home field is located, where 3 of our tournaments this season will be hosted!
